Common Questions
Do you accept insurance?
I am in-network with Aetna and Medicare. For other plans, I work as an out-of-network provider and payment is due at the time of service.
If you have a PPO plan, you may be eligible for reimbursement. I provide a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance company. Reimbursement depends on your individual plan.
Please note that insurance reimbursement requires a mental health diagnosis. We can discuss this together and decide what makes sense for your situation.
If you plan to seek reimbursement, it can be helpful to ask your insurance company about out-of-network coverage, deductibles, and session limits.
What is your fee?
My fee is $250 per 50-minute session.
For clients using Aetna or Medicare, coverage and out-of-pocket costs depend on your specific plan.
Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions?
Yes. I offer telehealth sessions for clients located in California, as well as in-person sessions in El Segundo.
How often do sessions happen, and for how long?
There is no predetermined timeline. Some people come to therapy around a specific concern or transition. Others choose longer-term work.
We decide together how often to meet and for how long, based on what feels most useful. Many clients begin with regular sessions and adjust frequency over time, returning as new questions or life transitions arise.
Whether our work is brief or ongoing, it stays grounded in the fuller story of who you are and the values you want to live from.
Do you work with couples?
Yes. I work with couples navigating life transitions, identity shifts, communication breakdowns, or the impact of stress, trauma, or midlife change on their relationship.
