Get started
Begin with a conversation, not a commitment
Starting therapy can feel like a big step. A short, complimentary consultation gives you space to ask questions, describe what you’re hoping for, and notice whether this approach feels like a fit—before you decide on ongoing work.
Complimentary 15-minute consultation
We use this time to clarify what brought you here, how I work, and practical details (fees, scheduling, telehealth vs. in-person in El Segundo). There is no obligation to book a full session afterward.
What ongoing therapy tends to look like
My practice is depth-oriented and collaborative—grounded in Narrative Therapy and, when appropriate, EMDR. Sessions focus on the stories and contexts that shape how you see yourself and your relationships, not on rushing to a label or a one-size-fits-all technique.
For a fuller picture of modalities and who I work with, see Services and How I work. For background and training, see About Deborah Kitay, LMFT.
